Two Macro Friendly Snacks for Game Day

It’s almost game day! If you’re looking for some macro-friendly snacks to enjoy while staying on track, you’ve come to the right place!

Carb-Friendly Nachos

(31g protein, 22g carbs, 17g fat)


Ingredients:

1 Joseph's Lavash Bread

3oz Lean protein source (I used leftover ground turkey with taco seasoning)

Veggies (I used 40g bell peppers and 30g onion)

1oz Low-fat cheese

1tbsp Salsa


Set your oven to 350 degrees. Cut your lavash bread into squares and bake for 7-8 minutes.

Take them out of the oven and top with your protein, veggies, and low-fat cheese. Bake for another 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted. Top with salsa and enjoy!


 

Spinach Artichoke Dip

(macros for 1/4 of the whole dish 17g protein, 11g carbs, 8g fat)

**macros for whatever you use for scooping not included**


Ingredients:

1 cup spinach, chopped

1 cup nonfat greek yogurt

1 cup low fat mozzarella cheese

1/3 cup parmesan cheese

1 garlic clove, minced

1 can artichoke hearts (drained)


Combine ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
