What’s the Best Protein Bar?

Protein bars are an easy way to help you hit your daily protein number on the go. It's a quick snack between meals or after a workout so they're really convenient. I've tried a bunch of different brands. Some have a weird texture or a funny aftertaste. My favorite, Built Bars, tastes like you're eating a candy bar! If you decide to try them out, use the code SWEAV10 at checkout for 10% off!

Flavors and Taste

All of them are covered in dark chocolate and have a soft center. The texture varies depending on the flavor. They have options that are fruity (cherry lime, raspberry, cherry barcia, blueberry muffin) and then more dessert-like flavors (cookies and cream, salted caramel, peanut butter brownie, mint brownie, coconut almond, rocky road). They often come out with interesting releases to change it up like. Recently they had salted pretzel and cookie dough chunk.

One of my favorite things about them; if you aren't sure which flavor you want to try, you can build your own box and try a bunch!

Ingredients

Built Bars are my favorite not only because of the taste, but because of the high-quality ingredients. They're all made with whey protein isolate (although, that comes from dairy so if you're dairy-free - these are not for you). Whey protein is easily digested by the body and contains all of the essential amino acids required for your body.

Macros

The flavors all vary in the macros slightly, but they all have 15-19g of protein, 18-21g of carbohydrates, and 2.5-3.5g of fat. Most bars are 130 calories, with a few options up to 180 calories. Another great perk is they all have at least 5g of fiber! They definitely leave you feeling satisfied hunger-wise.

Check out Built Bars for a quick and easy snack to hit your protein goal for the day. You can also have it as something sweet without going over in carbs and fats for the day! Use the code SWEAV10 or use this link for 10% off your order.
